Make sure all the roasted ingredients are completely cool before grinding.
Properly roasted poha gives the ladoos a lovely texture and prevents them from tasting raw.
Add ghee gradually, too much ghee can make the ladoos greasy and overpower the roasted flavours and make ladoo soggy.
Take a small portion and press it firmly in your palm. If it holds its shape, the mixture is ready.
If the mixture feels dry, Add a little more warm ghee rather than adding water or milk.
Can I use any other type of poha?
Thick poha is recommended for the best texture, but you can experiment with other types if needed.
What if my ladoos are not binding?
Add a little more warm ghee to help the mixture bind together.
Can I skip the nuts?
Yes, you can skip or substitute nuts according to your preference.
How should I store the ladoos?
Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
Is there a substitute for jaggery?
You can use brown sugar, but it will alter the taste slightly.
