Add onion and curry leaves. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.

Add tomato and green chilli. Cook until the tomato softens.

Add turmeric powder, kanda lasun masala, and coriander powder. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add soaked chana dal and mix well.


Add cabbage and salt. Mix everything well.

Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 7–8 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and the chana dal is cooked.
