How to make Meatloaf

  1. Step 1

    Peel the carrots, steam them, and process them into a purée. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Step 2

    Grate the onion and mix it with the minced garlic, olive oil, ground meat, breadcrumbs, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

    Work the mixture with your hands until you achieve a uniform paste.

    Spread the mixture into a rectangular shape on a sheet of aluminum foil greased with oil, keeping it about 2 cm thick.

    Place the smoked bacon slices, cleaned spinach leaves (without stems), and carrot purée in the center of the rectangle.

  6. Step 6

    Add the peeled, whole hard-boiled eggs.

  7. Step 7

    Roll the mixture with the help of the aluminum foil and seal the ends tightly.

  8. Step 8

    Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 30 minutes.

    Open the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to slightly brown the meatloaf’s surface.
