There’s a reason lasagna soup has been all over Instagram lately. It’s a super easy alternative to an oven lasagna but with all the same great taste. I save time by using pre-chopped onions and celery, and a jar of my favorite clean spaghetti sauce @ragu. Try this, and you may never make lasagna the same way again.

How to make The Easiest Lasagna Soup
- Step 1
Preheat a large Dutch oven to medium-high heat. Sauté the sausage, breaking it into smaller pieces.
- Step 2
When the sausage has finished cooking, add celery and onions. Sauté for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until onions become slightly translucent.
- Step 3
Add the pasta sauce to the pot and mix. Add about half a cup of broth to the pasta sauce jar, shake to mix, then pour into the pot to get all the sauce from the jar.
- Step 4
Add the rest of the broth to the pot and bring to a boil. Stir in your noodles, stirring frequently to prevent boiling over.
- Step 5
Cook noodles for approximately 15 minutes or until cooked through. Season the soup with salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.
- Step 6
Garnish with mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and parsley, if desired.
