Ingredients
- 4piecemedium-sized potatoes
- 1tbspolive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits
How to make Baked Potato in the Air Fryer
Wash and scrub the potatoes under running water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape while cooking.
Rub the potatoes with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure there is space between each potato for air circulation.
Cook the potatoes for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before topping with your favorite toppings.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crispy skin, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
