A delicious sandwich made with homemade French baguette and marinated chicken, topped with fresh vegetables and sauce.

Ingredients

Bread Batter

  • 4cups
    bread flour
  • 1 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2tsp
    instant yeast
  • 1 1/2cups
    lukewarm water

Chicken Marination

  • 1lb
    boneless chicken
  • 1tsp
    red chili
  • 2tbsp
    garlic ginger paste
  • 1tsp
    black pepper
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    oregano
  • 1cup
    mozzarella cheese

Sandwich Making

  • 1cup
    sauce
  • 1piece
    onion
  • 1piece
    cucumber
  • 2piece
    tomatoes
  • 4
    leaves lettuce

How to make French Baguette Sandwiches

Bread Preparation

  1. Combine bread flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl.

  2. Gradually add lukewarm water and mix until a dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.

  5. Shape the dough into baguettes and place them on a baking sheet.

  6. Preheat the oven to 220°C.

  7. Place a bowl of boiled water at the base of the oven to create steam.

  8. Bake the baguettes until golden brown and crispy on top.

Chicken Marination and Cooking

  1. Marinate the boneless chicken with red chili, garlic ginger paste, black pepper, salt, oregano, and mozzarella cheese.

  2. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked and tender.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. Slice the baguettes in half lengthwise.

  2. Spread sauce on the inside of each baguette half.

  3. Layer cooked chicken, onion slices, cucumber slices, tomato slices, and lettuce leaves inside the baguette.

  4. Close the sandwich and serve.

  1. For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
