    sprouted whole wheat flour

    sprouted oat flour
  • 1/2cup
    ground flaxseed

    chia seeds
  • 2tsp
    baking powder
  • 1tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1/4cup
    maple syrup
  • 1/4cup
    unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4cup
    coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2cup
    plant-based milk (like oat or almond)
  • 1piece
    ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4cup
    chopped walnuts

How to make Sprouted Grain and Flaxseed Breakfast Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together sprouted whole wheat flour, sprouted oat flour, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, applesauce, melted coconut oil, plant-based milk, and mashed banana.

  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chopped walnuts.

  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
