Ingredients

  • 9cups
    Dried Dill Weed
  • 1/2cup
    Olive Oil
  • 1/2cup
    Onions
  • 2clove
    Garlic
  • 1can
    Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1tsp
    Dried Oregano
  • 1/2tsp
    Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2cup
    Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

How to make Pasta with Tomato and Dill Sauce

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package directions.

  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir to combine.

  6. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.

  7. Serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a spicier sauce, increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes.

  2. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for better flavor.
