Pasta with Tomato and Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- 9cupsDried Dill Weed
- 1/2cupOlive Oil
- 1/2cupOnions
- 2cloveGarlic
- 1canCanned Crushed Tomatoes
- 1tspDried Oregano
- 1/2tspCrushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2cupParmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
How to make Pasta with Tomato and Dill Sauce
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package directions.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir to combine.
Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
Serve immediately.
Tips & Tricks
For a spicier sauce, increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes.
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for better flavor.
