    Lean Beef Stew Meat
  • 2tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 1piece
    Onion
  • 2clove
    Garlic
  • 2cups
    Beef Broth
  • 1cup
    Red Wine
  • 1tbsp
    Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1tsp
    Dried Thyme
  • 1tsp
    Dried Rosemary
  • 1piece
    Bay Leaf
  • 3cups
    Red Potatoes
  • 1cup
    Carrots
  • 1cup
    Celery
  • 1/2cup
    Frozen Peas and Carrots
  • as needed Salt and Pepper

How to make Beef Stew

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

  2. Sear the beef stew meat in the hot oil until browned on all sides.

  3. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.

  4. Stir in the beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaf.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

  6. Add the potatoes, carrots, and celery to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender.

  7. Stir in the frozen peas and cook until heated through.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Serve hot with crusty bread or rice.
