For the Couscous

  • 1cup
    couscous
  • 2cups
    water
  • Salt to taste

For the Cabbage Porridge

  • 1piece
    medium cabbage, chopped
  • 2piece
    medium onions, chopped
  • 2clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1tsp
    paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 4cups
    vegetable broth

How to make Couscous and Cabbage Porridge

  1. Prepare the couscous according to package instructions.

  2. In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.

  3. Add onions and garlic; sauté until softened.

  4. Add chopped cabbage; cook until wilted.

  5. Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
