    makhana (fox nuts)
  • 1/2cup
    chopped cucumber
  • 1/2cup

    chopped green chili (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1tsp
    chaat masala
  • 1/2tsp
    roasted cumin powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 2tbsp
    grated or chopped raw mango (optional, for tanginess)
  • 2tbsp
    plain yogurt (optional, for a creamy texture)

How to make Healthy Makhana Chaat

Prepare the Makhana

  1. Heat a dry pan over medium heat. Add the makhana and roast them, stirring frequently, until they are crispy and slightly golden (about 5-7 minutes). Allow them to cool.
