Easy Aloo Matar recipe

  1. Step 1

    Pressure cook 2 potatoes prior making this dish.

  2. Step 2

    Heat oil in a pan , crackle some cumin seeds. add ginger garlic paste . Saute well for a min

  3. Step 3

    Next add sliced onion and slit green chillies. Saute for 2 min .

    Next add basic masala available at home like turmeric and red chilli powder. Saute well.

  5. Step 5

    Add tomatoes till it turns a bit mushy. Then add green peas and simmer for 2-3 min.

    Once the masalas get properly mixed with the peas, add diced boiled potato, salt to taste and mix well.

  7. Step 7

    Garnish with coriander leaves. Delicious easy aloo matar is ready to serve. Serve hot with rotis , rice or bread.
