This is a very chocolatey, moist, and super easy to make chocolate fudge cake made with both melted chocolate and cocoa powder. Topped with chocolate ganache.

Ingredients

Cake

  • 1cup
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1cup
    sugar
  • 3
    egg
  • 1/2cup
    milk
  • 100g
    butter
  • 50g
    dark chocolate
  • 1tsp
    vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2tsp
    baking powder

  • 1cup
    chocolate chips
  • 1/2cup
    heavy cream

Cake Preparation

  1. Crack open the eggs into a bowl and add sugar.

  2. Double boil this mixture for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.

  3. Remove from heat and continue stirring until the sugar melts completely. Let it cool down completely.

  4. Mix cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and baking powder together.

  5. Add this dry mixture to the egg and sugar mix along with vanilla essence. Mix well.

  6. Boil the milk along with butter and dark chocolate until it melts.

  7. Pour the hot milk mixture into the cake mix and mix well.

  8. Grease a 7-inch cake tin and place a butter paper on it. Pour the cake mix into the tin.

  9. Bake at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes. Let it cool down completely before demoulding.

  2. Double boil this mixture until it melts.

  3. Pour the ganache over the cake and decorate with some chocolate pieces.
