How to make Carrot Jamun

Prepare carrot balls

  1. Step 1

    Peel and cut the carrot into pieces. Transfer to a mixer jar and grind to a fine paste by adding 1/2 cup of milk.

    Make corn flour slurry by mixing 1 tbsp corn flour with a little milk. Set aside.

    In a pressure cooker, add 1/2 L milk and 3/4 cup sugar. Boil on medium to high flame until it starts bubbling.

    Turn the flame low, close the lid, and put the whistle on it. Keep the flame very low, ensuring the whistle does not make a sound. Boil for 30 minutes.

    After 30 minutes, turn off the flame and let the pressure release completely. Open the lid; the milk should be light brown.
