A moist and delicious banana bread recipe perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 2piece
    bananas
  • 1 1/2cups
    cake flour
  • 1/2tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 1/2cup
    butter or baking margarine
  • 1/2cup
    sugar
  • 2piece
    eggs
  • 1tsp
    vanilla essence
  • 1/2cup
    milk

How to make Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a loaf tin with butter and dust with flour.

  2. Mash the bananas and set aside.

  3. Whisk butter and sugar together until smooth and creamy.

  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla essence and the mashed bananas. Mix until combined.

  5. Sieve all the dry ingredients together.

  6. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture while alternating with the milk. Do not overmix.

  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan.

  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Enjoy!
