How to make Tasty & Flavourful Ambemohar Rice

Prepare Green Paste

  1. Step 1

    Grind coconut, green chili, garlic, and coriander together in a mixer.

  2. Step 2

    Add some water and blend the ingredients into a smooth paste.

Cook the Rice

    Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

    Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

    Add hing and turmeric, followed by a big spoonful of the blended green paste.

  2. Step 2

    Add a teaspoon of the blended green paste and mix well.

  3. Step 3

    Pour the tempering over the cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
