  • 2cups
    fresh basil leaves
  • 1piece
    lemon, juiced
  • 3clove
    garlic
  • 1/4cup
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/2cup
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 1piece
    chilli, optional

How to make Basil Pesto with Sunflower Seeds

Making the Pesto

  1. Add fresh basil leaves, lemon juice, garlic cloves, sunflower seeds, and salt to a container suitable for an immersion blender.

  2. Blend the ingredients until they form a smooth paste.
