How to make Veg Seekh Kebab

  1. In a food processor, add boiled and mashed potatoes, grated paneer, finely chopped mixed vegetables, finely chopped onions, finely chopped green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, chaat masala, red chili powder, salt, and breadcrumbs. Blend everything together to form a smooth mixture.

  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a cylindrical kebab around a skewer or a thick wooden stick.

  3. Preheat a grill or an oven to 180°C. Place the kebabs on a greased baking tray or grill rack and brush them with some oil.

  4. Grill the kebabs for 15-20 minutes, turning them occasionally and brushing with more oil, until they are evenly cooked and golden brown.

  5. Serve the Veg Seekh Kebabs hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the mixture is smooth and well-blended to help the kebabs hold their shape.

  2. You can also cook the kebabs on a stovetop grill pan if you do not have an oven or grill.
