    chilli flakes or powder
  • 20clove
    garlic
  • 1tsp
    sugar
  • 3tbsp
    soya sauce
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1/2cup
    vegetable oil
  • sesame seeds (optional)
  • sesame oil (optional)

How to make Chilli Oil

Preparation

  1. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil until it is very hot.

  2. Add the garlic cloves and sauté until they turn golden brown.

  3. Remove the pan from heat and add the chilli flakes or powder, sugar, soya sauce, and salt.

  4. Mix well and let it cool.

  5. Once cooled, you can add sesame seeds and sesame oil if desired.

  6. Transfer the chilli oil to an airtight container for storage.
