For the Glaze

  • honey/syrup

How to make Christmas Gammon Recipe

  1. Step 1

    In a large pot half-filled with water, add dry thyme, rosemary, and mixed herbs. Heat should be medium.

  2. Step 2

    Add in the chopped onions and garlic cloves.

  3. Step 3

    Put in the Gammon, it should be half-submerged. Cover and cook it for an hour.

  4. Step 4

    Prepare the glaze by mixing all the ingredients in a pot over medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Remove the gammon from the pot and place it in a roasting pan. Remove strings if yours have any.

  6. Step 6

    Pour the glaze over it.

  7. Step 7

    Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for an hour.

  8. Step 8

    Let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting it up.
