Delicious potato pancakes served with a creamy mushroom sauce.

Ingredients

6 Servings
(1 serving = 1 pancake with sauce)

For Pancake

  • 3piece
    boiled potatoes
  • 2piece
    eggs
  • 2tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • salt
  • pepper

For Sauce

  • 1cup
    diced mushrooms
  • 1piece
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2cup
    cream
  • 2tbsp
    oil or butter
  • salt
  • pepper

How to make Potato Pancakes with Mushroom Sauce

For Pancake

  1. Grate the boiled potatoes.

  2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the grated potatoes and mix well to make a pancake batter.

  3. Mix a little milk if required.

  4. Fry the batter into pancakes using oil or butter.

For Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a pan.

  2. Add chopped onions and mushrooms and sauté well until cooked.

  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Add the cream and mix well.

  5. Pour this sauce over the pancakes and serve hot.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the potatoes are well-boiled for a smoother pancake batter.

  2. Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less cream.
