How to make Kada Prasad | Guru Nanak Jayanti Special🙏

  1. Step 1

Melt ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan or kadai over medium flame.

  2. Step 2

Add whole wheat flour to the melted ghee and roast it, stirring continuously, until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.

  3. Step 3

Once the flour changes color to brownish biscuit shade, dissolve sugar into the mixture.

  4. Step 4

Carefully add room temperature water to the pan while stirring continuously. Be cautious as it may splutter.

  5. Step 5

Stir the mixture well until it thickens, becomes smooth, and starts leaving the sides of the pan. Keep the flame low at this time.

  6. Step 6

Turn off the flame and allow it to rest for few minutes. Take out in a bowl, and garnish with dryfruits and dried rose petals.

  7. Step 7

Offer it as prasad or enjoy it hot, rich, silky, and full of blessings.
