Ingredients
2 Servings
(1 serving = 1 bowl )
For preparation
- 1cupPoha
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2tspsugar
- 1lemon
- 1tspTurmeric powder
- 1onion
- 1Tomato
- 10curry leaves chopped
- 2tbsppeanuts
- 1tspCumin seeds
- paneer for garnishing
- pomegranate seeds for garnishing
- 1tbspOil
How to make Khatta meetha poha
Let’s prepare
Take poha in a stainer and wash it thoroughly 4-5 times
Add salt,sugar,turmeric powder and lemon
Give a gentle mix
In a pan put oil followed by cumin seeds,curry leaves and peanuts
Take the peanuts out once it’s fried
Now add onion and tomato along with salt
Add poha into the pan and mix gently
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes
Now add paneer and pomegranate for garnishing
serve hot or pack in your lunchbox
Tips & Tricks
Adding salt,turmeric,sugar and lemon in poha before cooking makes it more fluffy and soft
