    Put the dry beans in a bowl and add 2 cups of water. Rub the beans together with your hands to peel off the skin.

    If you have a blender for faster result skip previous process. Blend dry beans with 2 cups of water on the lowest speed for 1 minutes or 30 seconds.Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and separate the chaff from the beans, changing the water after each process.     Add 1/2 cup of water to adjust the consistency. It should not be too watery or too thick. Add salt and taste to adjust seasoning.

Assembling the Moi Moi

  1. Step 1

    Boil some eggs and fish. Fry the fish if desired, or shred it into pieces. If using shredded method, add to your moi moi while mixing

    Cut the boiled eggs into halves or quarters.

    Scoop 1 cup of the Moi Moi mixture into transparent nylon, Moi Moi leaves, foil paper, or aluminum foil plates.As for mine I used transparent nylon as shown in the picture.Add a slice of fried fish and a piece of sliced egg to each portion.

Cooking the Moi Moi

  1. Step 1

    Place the tied Moi Moi portions into a pot of boiling water.
