This recipe can be used as entrée, canape's, cocktail or finger food. it can be frozen for later use, store in container and leave in freezer until used. When you need to use, thaw in fridge and heat in the oven for 10 minutes, looks and taste as freshly made
- 1Baguette stick
- 2cupRed capsicum diced
- 1cupMushroom sliced
- 1/2cupOnion chopped
- 1/2cupPineapple chopped
- 1cupCheese shredded
- 2tspMixed hers
- 1tspChilli Flakes
Preheat the oven to 1800C and spray a tray with oil spray.
Heat oil in frypan add chopped onion, garlic cook for 2-3 minute until soft add passata, salt, sugar, and mixed herbs(you can make pizza sauce or buy from market. Its optional)
Mix all vegetables(change vegetables to your choice) together, add chilli flakes into the mixture if you like
Cut the baguette into thick slice using bread knife 1.5-2cm thick slice.
Apply 1tsp pizza sauce to the base of baguette slice and add vegetable mixture and top up with grated cheese.
Cook in the oven for 10-15 mins until cheese melts and slice looks cooked enough.
Enjoy or cool and freeze for later use
Tips & Tricks
Don't cut the bread slices too thick or thin. Bake for longer if you want cruncy base.
