Ingredients

12 Servings
(1 serving = 1 muffin)
  • 2 1/2cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1cup
    plain yogurt
  • 1cup
    chocolate chips
  • 2tsp

  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1/2cup
    vegetable oil
  • 2piece
    egg
  • 1cup
    sugar
  • 2tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4cup
    chocolate chunk

How to make Double Chocolate Muffin

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 12-muffin pan with 12 muffin liners and set it aside.

  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt) and ¾ cup chocolate chips in a bowl.

  3. Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add yogurt, vanilla extract, and oil. Whisk to combine.

  4. Incorporate dry ingredients with wet ingredients until well combined.

  5. Divide the muffin batter into the twelve muffin liners.

  6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then place them onto a cooling rack to prevent moisture at the bottom.

  8. Optional: Melt ¼ cup of chocolate chunks for 60-90 seconds in the microwave and drizzle over the muffins after baking.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.

  2. Do not overmix the batter to keep the muffins light and fluffy.
