For the Crust

  • 2cups
    Oreo crumbs
  • 1cup
    unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake

  • 3
    8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1cup
    granulated sugar
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1cup
    sour cream
  • 2tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1tbsp
    red food coloring
  • 1cup
    crushed Oreos

For the Topping

  • 1
    Whipped cream
  • 1
    Whole Oreos
  • 1
    Red velvet crumbs

How to make Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake

Crust Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C). Mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill while preparing the filling.

Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.

  2. Fold in crushed Oreos gently. Pour mixture over the crust and smooth the top.

  3. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until set but slightly wobbly in the center. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Topping and Serving

  1. Decorate with whipped cream, whole Oreos, and red velvet crumbs before serving.
