How to make Gratin Stuffed Potatoes

  1. Step 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them in half. Place the halved potatoes on a baking tray lightly greased with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes or until they are cooked and tender.

  2. Step 2

Remove the potatoes from the oven and, once they are warm, carefully scoop out the insides and set them aside.

  3. Step 3

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a little oil. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring to combine with the onion.

  4. Step 4

Add the reserved potato flesh and mix it with the beef. Then add the peeled and finely chopped tomato, seasoning with salt, pepper, and oregano.

  5. Step 5

Fill the hollowed-out potato skins with this mixture.

  6. Step 6

Top each stuffed potato with plenty of grated Parmesan cheese and place them in a hot oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the surface is golden.
