Rich and fudgy chocolate brownies made with dark, milk, and white chocolate.

Ingredients

16 Servings
(1 serving = 1 piece)
  • 200g
    unsalted butter
  • 200g
    best dark chocolate
  • 85g
    plain flour
  • 40g
    cocoa powder
  • 50g
    milk chocolate
  • 3piece
    large eggs
  • 275g
    caster sugar

How to make The best Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease and line a 20cm square baking tin.

  2. Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir occasionally until smooth.

  3. Chop the white and milk chocolate into chunks.

  4. Whisk the eggs and caster sugar together until thick and creamy.

  5. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and fold gently.

  6. Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the mixture and fold in gently.

  7. Stir in the chocolate chunks.

  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes or until the top is firm but the middle is still soft.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the tin before cutting for the best texture.
