- 4tbspMini Marshmallows
- 1/2cup75% Dark Chocolate, roughly broken apart
- 1pinchSalt
- 2pieceCandy Canes for topping
- 2tbspMini Marshmallows for topping
How to make Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Place the milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, crushed candy cane, and mini marshmallows in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk constantly until warm but not boiling.
Add the dark chocolate and whisk constantly until the chocolate is melted and incorporated with the milk.
Whisk in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Then, pour into mugs.
Garnish the top with additional marshmallows and candy canes. Serve immediately.
Tips & Tricks
For a stronger peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract.
Use dairy-free milk for a vegan version.
