    box Elbow Macaroni
  • 3tbsp
    Butter
  • 3tbsp
    All-Purpose Flour
  • 2cups
    Milk
  • 1cup
    Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2cup
    Mozzarella Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

How to make Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions.

Cheese Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Stir in flour until smooth.

  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Baking

  1. Pour macaroni and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish.

  2. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
