Avocado salad is a healthy dish that’s perfect for a summer lunch or dinner! It’s filling and something you can feel great about serving and will easily be a highlight of any meal. Rich , creamy and satisfying !!!
Ingredients
Classic Avocado Salad
- 1Avocado
- 1Diced tomato
- 1cupcabbage
- 1sliced onion
- Salt to taste
- 1/2lemon
How to make Classic Avocado Salad
Get all the ingredients ready first. In a bowl , cut avocado into half and remove the seed.
Cut the flesh of avocado into cubes. Scoop out the pieces in the bowl. See to it that the cubes are medium in size. Otherwise, it may turn mushy while mixing.
Squeeze some lemon so that avocado doesn't oxidise.
Add the veggies like tomato, cabbage, onion and coriander leaves You can add other veggies as well of your choice like cucumber, sweet corn, capsicum, etc.
Add salt to taste , Mix all together gently using 2 spoons.
Delicious classic Avocado Salad is ready to serve !!!
Tips & Tricks
To avoid avocado turning brown after cutting, coat some lemon juice.
Refrigerate for some time before serving.
You can add other veggies, boiled eggs or boiled chicken pieces too.
Check the outer cover of avocado, if it is too hard then it needs a day's time to ripe well.
