- 2tbspall-purpose flour
- 1cupmilk
- 7pieceprocessed American cheese
- 1/2tspsalt
How to make Nacho Cheese Sauce
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour until a paste forms.
Pour in milk and stir until the mixture thickens.
Add cheese and salt; cook and stir until the cheese has melted, about 15 minutes.
Tips & Tricks
For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños.
Use freshly grated cheese for a smoother sauce.
