How to make Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sloppy Joes

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Sprinkle with granulated garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook while stirring occasionally until the beef begins to brown.

  2. Add the diced onions and continue cooking. Stir frequently until the onions are softened, and the beef starts getting a bit crispy around the edges.

  3. Pour in the Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sauce and mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.

  4. Keep the mixture warm until ready to serve. Spoon the sloppy Joe mixture over the buns and enjoy.

Tips & Tricks

  1. You can transfer the mixture to a slow cooker set on warm if you're prepping ahead.
