- 1/2kggrated carrots
- 1/4kgsugar
- 200gghee
- 1tbspcardamom powder
- 4piecechopped almonds
- 10gchopped cashew nuts
How to make Carrot Halwa
Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat.
Add grated carrots and sauté for 10-15 minutes until they soften.
Add sugar and continue to cook, stirring frequently.
Cook until the mixture thickens and the ghee starts to separate.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with chopped almonds and cashew nuts before serving.
Tips & Tricks
Use fresh and tender carrots for the best taste.
You can add milk or khoya for a richer flavor.
