Ingredients

6 Servings
  • 100g
    Refined Flour/Maida
  • 125g
    Curd
  • 50g
    Sugar
  • 60g
    Oil
  • 1/2tsp
    +1/8 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4tsp
    Baking Soda
  • Vanilla Extract
  • 1tbsp
    -2 tbsp Milk(optional)

Method

  1. Take a bowl, add curd and sugar to it. Whisk gently.

  2. Add baking powder and baking soda to it. Keep aside for 5 minutes.

  3. Now add oil and vanilla extract to it.

  4. Sieve maida and add to the above mixture. Give it a nice stir.

  5. Pour the batter into a greased round baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 160 degrees.

  6. Allow the cake to cool down completely before cutting. Enjoy the cake!!!!

Tips & Tricks

  1. Add 1-2tbsp of milk if the consistency of the cake batter is thick to make it smooth and flowing consistency.
