How to make Oha Soup recipe (Budget-friendly)

  1. Step 1

    Wash and season the meat with seasoning cubes, salt then cook until tender.

  2. Step 2

    if you notice the meat stock is almost dried up add more water to be at the same level with the meat

  3. Step 3

    proceed by adding in your dried fish, and palm oil then cover the pot and allow to boil for 7minutes

  4. Step 4

    Mix the Ofor thickener with a small amount of water and add it to the soup to thicken. stir well to make sure there is no lump. if the soup is too thick you can adjust with water

  5. Step 5

    Add your pepper, crayfish, Ogiri and Uziza leaves and Oha leaves to the pot, stirring gently to combine cover and allow to cook for 6 minutes

  6. Step 6

    until the leaves are tender and the flavors are well blended.

  7. Step 7

    Adjust the seasoning if necessary then Serve your delicious Oha soup with pounded yam or fufu
