Ingredients

Meatballs
- 12pcs. Quail eggs boiled peel off the shell
- 350gground pork
- 3clove garlic mince
- 100gcarrots fine dice
- 20ggreen onions chop
- 1tbsp. Oyster sauce
- 1medium egg beaten
- 2tbsp. flour and extra 3 tbsp for rolling
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1½ cooking oil for frying
Sweet n Sour Sauce
- 1pc. Red bell pepper
- 1med. White onion
- 1can220 grams pineapple chunks
- 120gTomato sauce
- 1tbsp. Tomato paste
- 2tbsp. Sugar
- 2tbsp. Vinegar
- 1cupwater
- 1tbspflour
- 1tspcornstarch
- 2tbspwater for slurry
- 2tbspcooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Meatballs Surprise Sweet n Sour Sauce
Prepare the Meatballs
- Roll the quail eggs with flour to easily coat the meat mixture.
- Mix ground pork, garlic, carrots, green onions oyster sauce, beaten egg, 2 tbps of flour.
- Weight 25 grams of meat mixture flatten with palm and roll on each quail egg.
- Coat with extra flour to firm the meatballs.
- Deep frying and drain excel oil.
Sweet N Sour Sauce
- Sautee Onions, Bell Pepper, Carrots Add sugar, tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar pineapple chunks and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat add the slurry and mix thoroughly
- Season with salt and pepper
