    packet Mutton Keema from @bluetribeofficial
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1
    big onion
  • 1tbsp
    ginger garlic paste
  • 2tsp
    chilli powder
  • 1 1/2tsp
    dhania powder
  • 1dash
    salt
  • 1dash
    pepper
  • 4
    small tomatoes

    readymade shortcrust pastry sheet

How to make Plant-Based Mutton Keema Pastry

Prepare the Stuffing

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add the bay leaf. Once it blackens, add the chopped onions.

  2. Add all the spices and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add the pureed tomatoes.

  3. Add the mutton keema once the oil separates from the tomatoes.

  4. Add a handful of peas (optional) and a quarter cup of water.

Prepare the Pastry

  1. Thaw the ready-made shortcrust pastry and carefully cover a dish with it.

  2. Place some beans in the dish to prevent the pastry from puffing up.

  3. Air fry at 160°C for 15 minutes, then remove the beans and bake at 160°C for an additional 5 minutes.

Assemble and Bake

  1. Fill the pastry with the stuffing and seal it with another pastry sheet.

  2. Brush the top with vegetable oil and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes until golden brown.
