    all-purpose flour

    water
  • 1tbsp
    salt
  • 1cup

    onion, chopped

    carrots, diced

How to make Japanese Curry Momo

Prepare the Momo

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms.

  2. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.

  3. Roll out the dough and cut it into small circles.

  4. Place a spoonful of cooked vegetables and minced meat (if using) in the center of each circle.

  5. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.

Prepare the Japanese Curry

  1. In a pot, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

  2. Add the diced carrots and potatoes, and cook for a few minutes.

  3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.

  4. Stir in the curry powder, soy sauce, and sugar. Simmer until the vegetables are tender.
