Tangra Fish, also known as catfish or Gangetic Mystus, is a delicious carnivorous fish. This quick and tasty recipe can be prepared in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 125gm)
  • 500g
    Tangra Fish
  • 3piece
    Onion (chopped)
  • 2piece
    Tomato (chopped)
  • 7piece
    Green Chilli (slitted)
  • 1tsp
    Turmeric Powder
  • 200g
    Mustard Oil
  • 2bundle
    Coriander leaves
  • 1dash
    Salt (as per taste)

How to make Tangra Macher (Catfish) One Pot Recipe

  1. Clean and cut the fish.

  2. Add all the ingredients together with the fish and mix it with your hand for 5 minutes.

  3. Take a kadhai and put the mixture inside it. Cover the kadhai and cook on low heat.

  4. Cook until everything softens, the oil separates completely, and the water released from the ingredients dries completely. Do not add water or sugar.
