  • 500g
    Tender spinach leaves
  • 2piece
  • 5clove
    Shelled garlic
  • 1tbsp
    Salted butter
  • 50g
    Cashew nuts
  • Salt to taste
  • 1pinch
    Black pepper powder
  • 1pinch
    Cinnamon powder
  • 1tsp
  • 1cup
  • 2cup


  1. Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly in flowing water and chop them .

  2. In a pan add butter and heat it. Add the chopped onions garlic and the cashew nuts and stir fry for 5 mins.

  3. Add the chopped spinach to the pan and stir fry for another 5 mins.

  4. After this mixture cools down add cold milk and grind in the mixer till you get a fine paste.

  5. Add 2 cups of water , salt, pepper and cinnamon powder to your soup mixture and cook on medium flame for 5 mins.

  6. Pour it in the soup bowls and garnish it with cream and pieces of cashew nuts

  7. Enjoy with toast or sandwiches !

Tips & Tricks

  1. Do not cover the lid of the pan while cooking spinach to get the best green colour.
