How to make Lauki Chana Dal
Preparation
Rinse the Toor dal and Chana dal thoroughly and soak them for about 30 minutes.
Chop the Lauki, Onion, and Tomato into small pieces.
In a pressure cooker, heat ghee and add cumin seeds.
Once they splutter, add chopped garlic and curry leaves, and sauté until fragrant.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until soft.
Add the soaked lentils, Lauki, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, amchoor powder, hing, and salt.
Pour in the water and mix well.
