Easy Worcestershire Sauce Chicken recipe

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 250g chicken)
  • 1/4cup
    MAGGI Hot LAZENBY Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2cup
    smooth apricot jam
  • 1kg
    chicken pieces, of choice

How to make Easy Worcestershire Sauce Chicken

  1. Prepare the braai for direct cooking over medium heat (180° C). Alternatively, cook the chicken in an oven or air fryer.

  2. In a braai tray or bowl, add the MAGGI Hot LAZENBY Worcestershire Sauce and apricot jam and whisk until combined. Remove about ¼ cup of marinade to use for other braai items. Add the chicken to the tray and mix until the marinade is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight if prepping ahead.

  3. Add the chicken pieces to the braai grid and continue to baste with the leftover marinade. Use the reserved marinade to baste other braai items you may have. Flip the chicken and braai until it's cooked through. Depending on the chicken pieces used, cooking times may vary. Chicken pieces on the bone will take 45-60 minutes, boneless chicken thighs, breasts, and sosaties will take 15-20 minutes.

  4. Serve the chicken with your favourite braai sides, add an extra dash of MAGGI Hot LAZENBY Worcestershire Sauce and enjoy!
