    mashed banana
  • 250g
    Margarine/butter melted
  • 1/8cup
    vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2cups
    sugar
  • 1 1/2tsp
    Cinnamon
  • 1
    TBP ginger
  • 1 1/2tsp
    mixed spices (tea masala)
  • pinch
    salt
  • 4cups
    flour
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 1/2tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4tsp
    baking powder
  • 3
    tap vanilla essence

How to make The Banana bread - Cake

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven then Grease and flour a large pan/ baking tin 16"

  2. In a large bowl measure out. All ingredients and mix well or use a food mixer to combine all the ingredients

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake at 170°C for 60 minor until golden brown and toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.

  4. Cool the cake for 5 mins then turn out onto rack and cooled completely

  5. Cake will be soft and moist. Enjoy!!
