Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 3cupsall purpose Flour
- 1 1/2tspBaking powder
- 1/2tspCinnamon
- 1/4tspmixed spices (tea masala)
- pinchof salt
Batter
- 1/2cupMargarine (or butter)
- 1/2cupoil
- 1cupsugar
Wet Ingredients
- 1egg
- 1/4cupmilk
- 1TBP vanilla essence
- 1/2lemon juice and zest (medium)
How to make Shally's CooCakies
Forming the dough
Prepare the baking tray with grease proof paper or brush nonstick spray
Measure all the dry ingredients and Sift them together into a bowl then set aside
In a jug whisk the wet ingredients together till well blended and set aside.
In a large bowl, Cream margarine, oil and sugar till soft and fluffy.
Fold and alternate the dry and wet ingredients into the batter and mix till nice soft dough is formed (not sticky)
Put the dough into a piping bag with an open star tip. pipe evenly nice rosette shapes. (Or as desired)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15min or until ready. (Golden brown)
Allow to cool and serve. Enjoy!! 😊
