How to make Crispy Dudhi Dosa | Bottle Gourd Dosa
Prepare the batter
- Step 1
Wash and chop the bottle gourd into small pieces. Grind it into a fine paste.
- Step 2
In a bowl, combine the bottle gourd paste, sooji, rice flour, chilli flakes, cumin seeds, and salt. Add 1 cup of water and mix well to form a runny batter. Add another cup of water if needed to achieve pouring consistency.
- Step 3
Add curry leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, chopped onion, and grated carrot to the batter. Mix thoroughly and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Cook the dosa
- Step 1
Heat a dosa tawa and splash a few drops of water to check the temperature. If water starts popping ,it's perfect time to pour the batter .
- Step 2
Pour the batter evenly over the hot tawa. Apply some ghee or oil and cover for a minute on medium flame.
- Step 3
Remove the dosa from the tawa and serve hot with your favorite chutney.
