How to make One Pot Delicious Ghee Rice

  1. Step 1

    Wash the rice and let it soak for 20 minutes.

    After 20 minutes, drain out the water.

  3. Step 3

    Put a pressure cooker on the stove and heat oil and ghee.

  4. Step 4

    Add the spices and sliced onion. Sauté until the onion becomes light brown.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw taste is gone.

    Add chopped tomato and sauté for 1 minute.

    Add 3 cups of water along with salt. When it starts bubbling, add rice and coriander leaves.

    Close the lid (remove the whistle from the pressure cooker lid) and turn the flame to low.

    After 12 minutes, turn off the flame. Open the lid and mix well.
