    Egg
  • 3/4tbsp
    Vinegar
  • 1/4cup
    Oil
  • 1/4clove
    Garlic
  • 2pinch
    Sugar
  • Salt
  • 2pinch
    Pepper powder
  • 1tsp
    Butter

How to make Homemade Pasteurized Mayonnaise

  1. Crack the egg into a bowl and add vinegar. Mix well.

  2. Boil water in a saucepan. Once it starts boiling vigorously, reduce the heat to low.

  3. Place the bowl with the egg and vinegar mixture over the saucepan, ensuring the bowl does not touch the water. Stir continuously for 1 minute.

  4. Remove from heat and let it cool down completely.

  5. Add the cooled mixture to a blender along with crushed garlic, pepper powder, sugar, and salt. Blend on low speed for 10 seconds.

  6. Add oil and blend on low speed until the texture turns thick.

  7. Add room temperature butter and blend again for 6-7 seconds.

  8. The tasty mayonnaise is ready to enjoy!
