    Egg
  • 3piece
    Onion
  • 4piece
    Green chilly
  • 1in
    Ginger
  • 8clove
    Garlic
  • 1tsp
    Fennel seeds
  • 1/2tsp
    Chilly powder
  • 1 1/2tsp
    Coriander powder
  • 1/2tsp
    Garam masala powder
  • 1/4tsp
    Turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2tbsp
    Oil
  • 1sprig
    Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to make Egg Fry

Preparation

  1. Boil the eggs, peel them, and grate using a grater. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. In a mixer jar, add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Coarsely grind them.

  2. Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, then add chopped onions. Sauté until light brown.

  3. Add the ground ginger, garlic, and green chili mixture. Sauté until the raw taste is gone.

  4. Lower the flame and add chilly powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, curry leaves, and salt. Mix well.

  5. Add the grated egg and stir occasionally for 5-8 minutes on medium flame.

  6. Turn off the flame. The egg fry is ready to serve.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the eggs are well boiled to make grating easier.

  2. Adjust the amount of green chilies to control the spiciness.
